Langsuir May 26th, 2007

I’m not as good at the techie stuff as some others, nothing to argue about so it’s no fun =p, but I saw this and thought it was kind of neat so why not share =D.

Keepon Dancing to Spoon

Shane April 13th, 2007

Found this thanks to Ethan at http://wheres-my-applesauce.blogspot.com/ he finds the coolest youtube videos.

The robot reacts to visual and audio stimuli. The first video is of him dancing to a song by Spoon. (?) The song is catchy, don’t know if I would listen to it just for the music, but with the robot its great.

The second video is much more

Del.Icio.Us One of those ‘doesn’t everyone know about that site?’ Sites.

Shane March 5th, 2007

go to Del.icio.us now.

I would bet most people don’t know what del.icio.us is, and I would also bet people who use it assume everyone knows about it. Its owned by Yahoo and is basically a service that lets you bookmark sites on the web on their site, so you can access your favorites/bookmarks from anywhere. The cool part is that it shows what others are bookmarking, and what people are saying about those sites (when you bookmark, you can add a note). You can install buttons

Widgetbox. Make a widget for your blog. Then hope someone posts it. :)

Shane March 1st, 2007

http://www.widgetbox.com is a really cool site, but I wonder how useful it is. I made a Widget for this page, to see what it was exactly. The service makes a small ‘real time’ window of your blog, using RSS, so you have a small box that displays your latest posts. I assume they hope blogs will put widgets of other blogs on them. It is really nice, you can see the newest posts from a site, updated automatically. But wouldn’t links still be the best way to advertise other sites? I like certain blogs, but not enough to take up a ton of space on my page

Meebo.com - Use all of your IM programs from the web. Too cool.

Shane February 16th, 2007

Just found this site.

www.meebo.com

I went there, put in my email and password for msn, poof! im looking at a web desktop with my MSN on it. I click a friends name. (Who should be posting here, he is due for an asskicking). And i send him a message.

Definitely a great site if you use multiple computers, multiple IM’s or both.
